BMS College of Engineering (BMSCE) was Founded in the year 1946 by Late Sri. B. M. Sreenivasaiah a great visionary and philanthropist and nurtured by his illustrious son Late Sri. B. S. Narayan. BMSCE is the first private sector initiative in engineering education in India. BMSCE has completed 72 years of dedicated service in the field of Engineering Education. Started with only 03 undergraduate courses, BMSCE today offers 13 Undergraduate & 16 Postgraduate courses both in conventional and emerging areas. 15 of its Departments are recognized as Research Centers offering PhD/M.Sc (Engineering by Research) degrees in Science, Engineering, Architecture and Management. The College has been effectively practicing outcome based education.

B.M.S. College of Engineering (BMSCE) is an autonomous engineering college in Basavangudi, Bangalore, India. It was founded by Late Sri. BM Sreenivasaiah, as the 1st Engineering College beneath private initiative. Admission Procedure:

BMSCE offers Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.) / Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) and Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) degrees at undergraduate level. The basic eligibility to these courses is having passed 10+2 or an equivalent examination. B.Arch. is a 5 year course and B.Tech./B.E. degrees have a 4 year duration. Candidates can get the application form from the college’s official website. After filling the form, the candidates have to send the form along with the application fee to BMS Educational Trust, Bull Temple Road, Bangalore. The admissions to MBA and MCA courses is granted on the basis of candidate’s merit in Karnataka Management Aptitude Test (KMAT). The exam will have 120 multiple choice questions which will be divided into three sections: Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Ability, and Logical Reasoning. Each section will have 40 questions. The exam will be of 2 hours.

The admissions to M.Tech and M.Arch courses will be granted on the basis of candidate’s merit in Postgraduate Common Entrance Test (PGCET). It is an offline exam with 75 multiple choice questions. Out of these, 50 MCQs will have 1 mark each and 25 MCQs will have 2 marks each. There will be no negative marking. The candidates will get 150 minutes to finish the exam.

COMEDK UGET 2020 Application Process

Candidates can apply for COMEDK UGET online on the official website of this engineering entrance exam. The important dates right from the start date for registration to result declaration as well as COMEDK UGET counselling dates will be available on the official website of COMEDK.

Candidates have to attach copies of the below mentioned documents with the printout of the Online Application Form of COMEDK UGET 2020:

·         Class X marks sheet

·         Category Certificate if any for SC/ST/PD or Minority candidates

·         DD for the application fee

KCET 2020 Application Process

Candidates can purchase the KCET 2020 brochure-cum-application forms from the schools or colleges mentioned in the information brochure. However, candidates who purchase the brochures from schools/colleges need to submit the duly filled KCET 2020 application forms to the respective schools or colleges.

On the other hand, candidates who have received the brochure-cum-application forms for the entrance exam through ‘Speed Post’ need to send the duly filled application forms by speed post directly to Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) on or before the last date of submitting applications.

Businayana Mukundadas Sreenivasaiah College of Engineering (BMS): The college  is an autonomous engineering college in Basavangudi, Bangalore, India. It also has Evening college (BMSECE), a non autonomous college, which comes under VTU. The engineering college, started in 1946 by B. M. Sreenivasiah, was the first private sector initiative in technical education in India and is run by the BMS Educational Trust. The college was affiliated with Bangalore University until 1998. It was affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University from 1998 to 2008, and became autonomous in 2008. BMSCE is located on the Basavangudi Area Bull Temple Road, opposite to the famous Bull Temple. Though a private engineering college, it is partially funded by the Government of Karnataka.
