BA LLB and BBA LLB in Christ University is a 5 year integrated course the eligibility for which is 10+2 with any subjects and a minimum of 50%. Both these Courses are approved by Bar Council of India and Successful completion would lead to a degree from Christ University. BA LLB / BBA LLB Admission in Christ Univeristy is based on Selection Process. The admission process in christ university for Law comprises of a Entrance Test, Skill Assessment, Micro Presentation, Personal Interview and assessment of past performance. Christ University Law Entrance Test comprises of 120 questions carrying 120 marks and to be solved in 120 minutes. While each correct answer carries 1 mark, each Wrong Answer carries -0.25. Negative marking makes the Christ University Entrance Test very difficult to crack. The Entrance Test judge the student in various topics like English Langauage, Comprehensive skills, verbal Reasoning, General Knowledge, Current Affairs, Qunatitative Aptitude, Numerical Ability, Fundamental Mathematical Operations, Data Analysis and Interpretation apart from Critical, Analytical and Logical Reasoning.The final selection of candidate is based on the overall performance in the Christ University Admission Selection Process. Christ University BBA LLB Admission Process
The admission process for the BBA LLB course has seen varied patterns in the previous years. The typical pattern is similar to how the admissions to the MBA programs happen at the PG level.
First of all you need to register for the process by filling up an online form. It asks for your details like name, gender etc. and board subjects and marks. There's no offline form for it.
Stage 1: Christ University Entrance Test for BBA LLB / BA LLB
The entrance exam was conducted by Christ University and as far as I remember it had 120 questions to be done in 120 minutes (I don't clearly remember though). It was pretty much aptitude based and clear concepts should have seen you through.
(Based on the entrance exam, the top 650-odd applicants were shortlisted for the next round for BBA LLB. For BA LLB it was 850-odd)
Stage 2: Skill assessment test, Micro presentation and Personal Interview Round
Skill assessment test : they will give you a topic and you have to write a page or two about that in proper English and with some relevant and meaningful content.
Speaking skills : a topic will be given and two min to think. And three min to speak. It's about how well you are able to communicate. So don't panic and speak confidently
MP had groups of 10 candidates each. It was moderated. The topics dealt with current affairs, general opinions as well as abstract topics.
The PI had faculties and principals of Christ University. The questions pertained to academics, hobbies, future goals and opinions on general matters.
Based on these, a cumulative score was allotted to each candidate. The weightage were as follows:
Entrance Exam: 40%
MP/SAT/PI: 50%
Class XII Marks: 10%
Based on these rankings were awarded and the candidates were offered seats on merit base at the counselling.
