Shiv Nadar School, Gurgaon is a K12 education initiative by the philanthropic Shiv Nadar Foundation. We began operations in the session 2012-13 and currently run the academic program for grades Nursery to XII.

Shiv Nadar School Gurgaon is affiliated to the CBSE Board. It is also a candidate school for the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme and pursuing authorization as an IB World School.

We try and evolve a child-centric methodology of teaching, where the natural creativity and learning capability of students are recognized and nurtured. We visualize our children as fertile minds capable of not merely receiving knowledge, but also constructing it. The pedagogic techniques followed at our school hence comprise of teacher-student engagement in a joyful atmosphere where comprehension and evolution of knowledge patterns happen as a collective activity. We stress not just the intellectual, but also the physical, the emotional and social growth of a child, achieved by involving him in a variety of carefully thought out activities. In order to be able to achieve all our said objectives, we adopt an extended daily programme, which runs from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm for Classes 1 and upwards.

Not only do we ensure we recruit the ablest candidates through a rigorous selection process, we invest thoroughly in training and development programs for our teachers to ensure that their professional and personal growth receives continuous attention.
