Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Centre (VIMS), Bangalore was established in the year 2000 and promoted by Srinivasa trust. It has four academic institutions: Vydehi Institute of Medical Sciences, Vydehi Institute of Dental Sciences, Vydehi Institute of Nursing Sciences, and Vydehi Institute of Biotechnology Sciences. The medical and dental institution is affiliated with the Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Karnataka. The medical institution is approved by the Medical Council of India and the dental institution is recognized by the Dental Council of India.

Vydehi is a 1600 bedded multi-specialty hospital, Vydehi provides 24-hour, seven-day-a-week services. Departments like the emergency department, critical care unit, blood bank, central diagnostic Lab, and ambulance services work round the clock to implement the growing requirements of patients.
