The growing city of Kanpur needed a number of good schools. Keeping this in mind, Mr. Shahid Rehman and Mrs. Sehba Rehman-founders of Woodbine inaugrated it on 7th Jan, 1985 under principalship of Mrs.Chandana Mukherjee.

 

Woodbine School is centrally located on the GT Road,Rawatpur. It consists of playgroup to III and the head office.It is a well planned building with a big play ground,well ventilated, attractive class rooms, play room, library, dance and music hall, TV & computer room and splash pool.
Woodbine Gardenia School is located on a spacious land in Kalyanpur on GT road. It consists of classes play group to XII. The school consists of 5 separate blocks & woodbine sports center.

 

The aim of Woodbine School is to provide quality education to its students. The school is a premier educational institute of Kanpur.
We aim to run the school in such a manner so as to add new dimensions in the areas of teaching & learning, discipline, moral & social responsibility, hygiene and good conduct.

We believe that our students should grow up as resposible and upright citizens of the country. The school provides facilities for the complete development of the potentials of the students in order to enable them to acquire a good personality with a strong foundation in all the subjects taught in the school. The burden of books has been kept to a minimum till the primary level. Emphasis is laid on developing an aptitude for learning with enthusiasm.

Academics are supplimented with inter-school, inter house & inter class compititions. We follow English as the medium of instruction and expose the students to a variety of mental & physical activities for their all round development.
