The question is very subjective.
First of all depends on the seats available in your course
If plenty of seats are available / offered and the input is not exactly the same then most probably if you were not too bad in your interview , you'll get in
Eg BHM , Theatre , bcom (evening ) and many others.
But if you've opted for a popular course and the input is way higher than the seats available then it can be pretty difficult to get in .
Eg BBA , Law , Eco Hons. are some of the popular courses.
However to get into the popular courses you just have to do a few things right.
1) Your exam score should be better than average ( Christ won't select you solely on your exam score . Even if you even mange to score 100% , you cannot guarantee yourself a seat ) but at the same time you cannot just do your CET the way you like . just do it as well as you can .
2) Interview is very important. Even if you score 100 percent in the christ entrance test (CET) unless and until you clear interview you won't be selected . It all depends on the interview.
Remember to be very very Confident and at the same time you need to have thorough knowledge about your course and the current affairs .
Also be passionate and truthful.
The above things may help you getting through and it is not that difficult to be very true :)
Just to give you a head's up, the entrance test will be difficult. I applied for bcom-hons and i had lost all hopes of getting in after solving the paper.
The technicality of the paper was quite high and it is only after i finished it did i realize that the felling was mutual for everybody.
The magic happens in the interview which is usually conducted after 3 hours of your initial test.
Keep the basic etiquette like wishing and thanking in mind. be ultra confident. Keep talking but not rambling. Stand by what you believe in even if its a wrong answer to the question. If you get stuck up on a question just tell them that you don't have a clarity over it but do share your knowledge about anything related to the question asked.
Dont boast too much. Keep it simple and dress either in formals or salwar for girls and formal with tie for boys.
Last but not the least dont loose hope. I never thought of clearing it but i did.
