What is BVP CET?

Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University (BVP), Pune, will conduct BVP CET 2020 to provide admissions for various graduate and postgraduate programmes offered by the university.

Grandiosity: The Bharati Vidyapeeth (BV) was accorded deemed university status in 1996 for its academic excellence in programmes offered in innovative and emerging areas. It was ranked 54th among universities by "NIRF-2017"

Mode: BVP CET 2020 is a university level exam that will be conducted in offline mode (pen and paper test) and Online Test.

Admissions: For various UG and PG programmes offered by BVP affiliated colleges, admissions will be provided on basis of the candidate's merit score in BVP CET 2020.

Enrollment: There are 750 seats for Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) offered by Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University.

Affiliated colleges: Bharati Vidyapeeth is one of the largest educational organization in the country which has 180 educational units, including 80 colleges and institutes.

Campus location: Bharati Vidyapeeth University has 8 campuses all over India. They are in Pune (2 campuses), Mumbai, Solapur, Kolhapur, Sangli, Karad, and New Delhi.

BVP CET 2020 Exam Dates

The exam conducting authority BVP releases the schedule for the exam. Make sure to go through all of the dates so that you wouldn't miss out on any one of the important events. The dates given below are tentative.

• Application Form: Application Form for BVP CET 2020 will be available on the official website from 31st January 2020. The last date to submit the Application Form will be on 10th May 2020 for the first exam and 15th May 2020 for the second exam.
• Admit Card: The Admit Card will be released by the conducting authority online on May 21, 2020.
• Exam Date: The BVP CET 2020 will be conducted offline i.e. Pen and Paper-based Test (PBT) on May 26, 2020.
• Result: The results will be declared on the official website on June 8, 2020.

BVP CET 2020 Eligibility Criteria

The BVP has set some criteria for taking the exam. Make sure that you clear the eligibility criteria before applying for the exam.

Qualification: Eligibility Criteria for BVP CET 2020 exam is such that the candidates should have passed class 10th and 12th from any recognized University,

• General category candidates should obtain a minimum of 50% aggregate marks
• SC/ST category candidates must obtain a minimum of 45% marks.

Age limit: For Engineering and Medical programs, the minimum age limit is 17 years. For MCA and MBA, there will be no such BVP CET 2020 Eligibility Criteria on the age limit.

Nationality: There is no condition on the nationality of a candidate. So any candidate from across the world can apply for taking the test of BVP CET.
