1. Can I directly come for admission round without registering for the First Year admissions?

Registration is a compulsory step for First Year 2020 admissions. Without registration, candidate would not be considered for admission process.

2. What is cut-off for SET entrance exam?

There is no cut off for the SET entrance exam. However cut-offs are declared only for the admission round day as who can attend it. Rest all the students who have SET score below the declared cut off have an option to either attend the admission round or directly apply for waiting list.

3. Are we going to be informed personally about the date and time of admission round?

The date and time of admission round will be informed through online, offline advertisements  and postings on the website. Please refer to the website.

4. Are parents also required at the time of admission round?

It is not mandatory for parent to accompany the candidate, however if they wish to, it is advisable that any one elder person can accompany.

5. If my score is less should I come for admission round, as I have to travel from a far-off place?

The general cut-offs are informed via mail and displayed on website approximately one week prior to the admission round. If the candidate score is very less than the cut-off, then he/she can directly apply for the waiting list.

6. Should I bring all the fees at the time of admission round?

Academic fees: Yes, candidate has to bring a DD of the amount 1, 50,000/-. The DD should be drawn in favour of "Symbiosis Institute of Technology", Pune, payable at Pune.

This DD is mandatory for seat allocation

Hostel Confirmation fee:A separate Bank Demand Draft for Rs. 97,000/ - (1st installment of Hostel & Mess Fees + hostel deposit (refundable)) drawn in favor of Symbiosis Institute of Technology, Pune, payable at Pune to be deposited at the time of admission for hostel confirmation.

SET 2020

Symbiosis International (Deemed University) conducts Symbiosis Entrance Test for admission into Law, Design, Management, Mass Communication, Arts and Engineering. The entrance exam is conducted for admission into 18 UG courses. Candidates who qualify the exam will be shortlisted on the basis of Written ability test and personal interview. Candidates who qualify WAT and PI will get the admission according to the rank or marks secured.

The admission procedure consists of two rounds:

First Round – You will have to appear for the Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET). SET is a common, objective, the written test which is held in several cities across India on the first Saturday of May every year. You will be shortlisted for the second round on the basis of your SET score. For more details visit https://set-test.org/

Second Round – If shortlisted, you will have to be present at the Center for a duration of three-four hours for the same. In this round you will have to take a writing ability test, have certain documents verified and participate in a studio test as well as a personal interaction. Attending the second round at Pune has the additional benefit of having a guided tour of the campus, hostel, etc prior to your (possible) admission
