Admissions in Manipal University is like a fest! Manipal Institute of Technology is the leading private engineering institute in India. Manipal Institute of Technology (MIT) has always been very proactive in placing the students into the profiles of their preference. The institute has a well-organized placement team headed by the Associate Director (Industrial Liaison, Placements & Practice School) and comprising of faculty and student coordinators from each department. On an average, over 125 recruiting teams visit MIT Manipal for UG & PG campus placements & internship recruitment every year.* 300+ students have internship offers and their Internship to FTE (full-time employment) conversion results are awaited.
It always depends on the companies visiting the campus. But on an average, Mechanical and allied companies offer a package ranging from 4–7 LPA for core which may go up to 9–12 for non-core, CS/IT usually have a high starting package of 12 LPA but that's not the case with all companies, Civil has around 5–8 LPA, while Electronics/Electrical has a wide range of packages starting from 5–8 LPA for core and 9–15 for non-core.
