Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT) earlier known as SET Law is an entrance exam conducted by the Symbiosis International (Deemed) University to offer admissions into the five-year integrated law courses i.e. BA LLB (Hons.) and BBA LLB (Hons.). And The law courses are offered at four law schools of SIU i.e. Symbiosis Law School (SLS) Pune, SLS Noida, SLS Hyderabad and SLS Nagpur (new campus). Symbiosis International School (SIU) administered SLAT will be conducted as per the SLAT exam pattern, prescribed by the university. The exam pattern of SLAT gives an insight into the test scheme and pattern, i.e, mode, type, duration etc. Candidates going to appear in SLAT must be aware of SALT exam pattern as it will help them in putting their preparation in the right direction. SLAT will be conducted in online CBT mode, and 150 minutes will be given to attempt 150 questions.

SLAT participating institutes 2020 - Important facts

Though there is a centralised SLAT 2020 for all participating colleges, the SLAT counselling 2020 will be decentralised i.e, candidates will have to join SLAT counselling of different colleges separately.

All participating institutes of SLAT 2020 will release merit list, cut off list and counselling schedule separately. The PI & WAT will also be conducted separately in each SLAT participating college.

Symbiosis Law School Pune is considered one of the top law college in India and is ranked 7th in the NIRF 2019 ranking of top law colleges in India.

Symbiosis Law School Nagpur was added last year as a new SLAT 2020 participating institute and it offers a total of 240 undergraduate’s law seats.

In addition to the general reservation, SLA Nagpur also offers 25% reservation for candidates who are Nagpur domiciled.

SLS Noida offers 5% reservation in the name of wards of serving and retired defense that is also in addition to the general reservation policy of SLAT 2020 participating colleges.

The Symbiosis University will conduct SLAT 2020 on May 2020. SLAT 2020 will be conducted online mode across 85 different cities of India. The SLAT (Symbiosis Law Admission Test) or earlier it is called as Symbiosis Law Entrance Test (SET Law) will be administered by the university to offer admissions into the UG law programmes on offer in the university.
