BIT is located in IT hub of India, Bangalore and therefore no such issues of placement. This college provides you a plethora of opportunities to prove your strengths.There are so many cultural and industrial events to organize and to be a part that you would improve your managerial skills. The infrastructure of BIT is good, a beautiful campus. All facilities are available. Classes and labs are well equipped, course curriculum is updated according to the norms specified and faculties are very helpful. Student life is awesome at BIT.

Bangalore Institute of Technology is one of the best VTU College and is ranked 5th overall in Bangalore. The campus may not add up to much as compared to the newer colleges with larger campuses but what it lacks in a campus makes up for it in it providing quality education.The faculties of all the branches are very student friendly and are very approachable.The placements are excellent too ! With a varying range of companies and start ups recruiting the graduates of my college. Canteen food is decent.Not that great though !

Placements are good in BIT, especially for computer science and information science. If your aggregate is more than 65 % you ll be placed in very good companies , with good package.For other branches, placements is not that good. For mechanical hardly 3 or 4 core companies come for placements and select very few candidates. same is the case with other branches.

There are a number of centres carrying out inter-disciplinary research and many collaborative programmes exist between the college and other institutions, like IISc, N.A.L, etc. The college is also a program centre for IGNOU. Teaching & research work is also amply supported by facilities such as central library with 30000 volumes of text books and reference books, and an INDUSTRIAL CONSULTANCY AND RESEARCH CENTER.
