1. Class 10 Board Exams: Record-Breaking Performance
The Class 10 board exams were conducted from March 4 to March 22, 2025. This year, the overall pass percentage saw a sharp rise to 79.8%, reflecting improved academic support and performance.
Topper Achievement: Saina Thakur secured the top position with 696 out of 700 marks, achieving an outstanding 99.43%.
Gender Trend: Female students outperformed male students in overall pass percentage, continuing a positive trend from previous years.
2. Class 12 Board Exams: Reforms and Re-Evaluation
The Class 12 exams faced a major shake-up when the English paper, initially scheduled for March 8, had to be rescheduled to March 29 due to security concerns. This was part of a broader push to enhance the fairness and transparency of the exam process.
Initial Pass Rate: 83.16%
After Re-evaluation: Following a correction in the answer key, the board raised the final pass percentage to 88.64%, allowing over 5,700 more students to pass.
Topper Insight: Mehak from Una district topped the state with a score of 97.2%.
