The Vidyalaya is affiliated to CENTRAL BOARD OF SECONDARY EDUCATION, NEW DELHI and syllabus is provided under the patronage of NATIONAL COUNCIL OF EDUCATIONAL RESEARCH AND TRAINING. OUR AIMS AND OBJECTIVES The Kendriya Vidyalayas are run by Kendriya Vidyalayas Sangathan, (an autonomous body) under the Ministry of Education, (H.R.D.) Govt. of India, New Delhi on the recommendations of the second Pay Commission. They primarily cater to the educational needs of the children of Central Government Employees, including Defence Personnel and Floating population liable to frequent transfers throughout the country. Needless to say, therefore they have common syllabus throyghout India and are affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education New Delhi.

Aims of the Vidyalaya

 

Kendriya Vidyalaya Faizabad is situated at a very convenient distance from main bus stand as well as railway station Faizabad. It is in the cantonment area near MES(Military Engineering Service) office in its own new permanent building. This Kendriya Vidyalaya started its journey from 02 October of the academic year 1981-82 with single section from Class I to IX. Initially it was established temporarily in old Army Berecks of Record Dogra Regiment Centre, near Gurudwara. First batch of Class X appeared in CBSE exam in March 1983. The Kendriya Vidyalaya had been shifted in new Army Barecks of DRC at Parade Ground in the year 1984, from its Original setup.
