The Kendriya Vidyalayas are run by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body formed by the Ministry of Home Affairs. Kendriya Vidyalaya Cantt s one of the best institutions of education at Kanpur it is situated inside the Cantonment Area, Kanpur . This Vidyalaya has emerged as one of its kind in providing disciplined academic atmosphere as well as co-curricular activities with befitting infrastructure. ADMISSION PROCEDURE Eligibility Age For Admission : A child must at least 5 yeas old on 30th September in the academic year in which admission is being sought for admission in class I .For subsequent classes, the eligible age would be reckoned again with reference to 30th September with a propionate over 5 years. An upper age limit for admission is fixed as the minimum age limit plus2 years. No child would be eligible for admission in a class if the age is more than this maximum age prescribed.
