Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)
Overview
Bachelor of Business Administration is also known as BBA General or BBA Pass Course, and is an undergraduate management course. The course is spread across 3-4 years, and is divided into a number of semesters. Aspirants willing to pursue BBA can opt for Full-time Graduate course or can pursue the course through Correspondence or Distance Learning.
When opting for BBA General, a candidate must note that the course is not subject specific. Apart from the compulsory subjects, students get the advantage of choosing combinations of different subjects – these combinations vary depending upon the subjects offered a particular institute. This degree is also popular by the other names like Bachelor of Business Studies (BBS) and Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS).
Eligibility
The candidate should have passed 10+2 exam from any stream, and should have secured at least 45% marks in class 12th. Also, English should have been a compulsory subject.
Admission criteria and syllabus
Candidates can secure BBA seats in management institute on the basis of entrance test. This generally is an objective-type test. Candidates are evaluated on English Language, Reasoning skills and Quantitative Aptitude.
