Department of Computer Science & Engineering has a total of 44 teaching faculty members with various specializations in computer science, out of which 23 are Ph.D holders, 19 are pursuing Ph.D and only 2 faculties are yet to register for Ph.D. The Department has state-of-the-art infrastructure and computing equipment supported by high speed Ethernet and wireless networks.

The intake for undergraduate program is 180 students and 18 each for M.Tech(CSE) and M.Tech(CNE). The faculty student ratio is 1:18.The Departmenthas a comprehensive curriculum on topics related to all aspects ofComputer Hardware and Softwarewith an emphasis on practical learning. The course structure is in line with latest-advances in technology which equip the students with the latest developments in ComputerScience and Engineering.

Infrastructure / Facilities of Department of CS Engineering

Department of CSE has enough class and tutorial rooms with most of them equipped with projectors. Department also has a Seminar Hall. There are well equipped laboratories having advanced research infrastructure with interdisciplinary & industry based labs to emphasis on holistic learning of students.

Department Library

CSE department library aims to support the students and faculty by providing most relevant and required books. The library is well stocked with more than 1119 titles and 1720 volumes of books exclusive to CSE department UG and PG courses.
