About College

Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal was established in the year 1957 as on of the first self financing engineering college of India. It became a constituent institute of the deemed university- Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) in the year 2000, which is known today as Manipal Academy of Higher Education. The institute is affiliated to Karnataka University, Mysore University, Mangalore University and Visvesvaraya Technological University. MIT, Manipal offers B.Tech, M.Tech, M.Sc and MCA programmes to the students.

B.Tech EEE is designed to provide skills and knowledge about the electrical, electronic and computer-based systems so as to make students successful engineers with a shining career. The course consists of core courses, electives, and Lab Practical.

The course delivery methods include lectures, lab work, practical training, assignments, workshops etc. During B.Tech EEE course, students are encouraged to undergo practical training and this usually happens after the end of the fourth semester.

How to Apply for Manipal University B.Tech Admissions 2020?

To apply for admissions in B.Tech program at Manipal University, the applicant has to fill B.tech online application form 2019 from the official website of the university. And to secure the admission in Manipal University, the student must register for MET (Manipal Entrance Test) exam. After the results of MET are out, the candidates can register for the online counseling process. The online test booking system (OTBS) for MET 2020 will begin from April 1st Week.

MET 2019 Instructions & Exam Pattern:-

Test Slot Booking & e-hall tickets scheme
MET (Manipal ENtrane Test) is an online test. The applicant has to login to the online test booking system (OTBS) with OTBS User Id. Application Number & the OTBS password will be emailed to the applicant's registered email id.
Booking for the MET 2019 is done on the basis of first-come-first-serve with the availability of the subject slot.
Once the test slot is booked, it cannot be changed under any circumstances.
The applicant can only avail OTBS by fulfilling the requirements of the application form in all aspects.
OTBS will be activated after the last date submission of the application form.
On completion of the slot booking, OTBS can generate the e-hall ticket and a duplicate of the e-Hall ticket is emailed to the applicant registered email id.
An applicant will not be permitted to appear for the test without a valid e-hall ticket.
A hard copy of e-hall ticket must be presented at the time of counseling/admission
