Description of SLAT & Direct Law Admission

Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT) earlier known as SET Law is an entrance exam conducted by the Symbiosis International (Deemed) University to offer admissions into the five-year integrated law courses i.e. BA LLB (Hons.) and BBA LLB (Hons.). And the law courses are offered at four law schools of SIU i.e. Symbiosis Law School (SLS) Pune, SLS Noida, SLS Hyderabad and SLS Nagpur (new campus).

Symbiosis International School (SIU) administered SLAT will be conducted as per the SLAT exam pattern, prescribed by the university. The exam pattern of SLAT gives an insight into the test scheme and pattern, that is, mode, type, duration etc. Candidates going to appear in SLAT must be aware of SALT exam pattern as it will help them in putting their preparation in the right direction.

SLAT will be conducted in online CBT mode, and 150 minutes will be given to attempt 150 questions. The Symbiosis University will conduct SLAT 2020 on May 2020. SLAT 2020 will be conducted online mode across 85 different cities of India. The SLAT (Symbiosis Law Admission Test) or earlier it is called as Symbiosis Law Entrance Test (SET Law) will be administered by the university to offer admissions into the UG law programmes on offer in the university

The SLAT 2020 is the only entrance exam held to take admissions into the BA LLB and BBA LLB programmes offered in three law schools of Symbiosis University including SLS Pune, SLS Noida and SLS Hyderabad. Eligibility and Intake Details

Standard XII (10+2) or equivalent examination passed from any recognized board with minimum 45% marks or equivalent grade (40% marks or equivalent grade for Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribes).

• The total intake is 300 seats [inclusive of 120 seats of BA. LL.B (Honours) and 180 seats of BBA. LL.B (Honours)].
• Separate Merit Lists for BBA. LL.B (Honours) and BA. LL.B (Honours) programme will be prepared and published. At the time of SLAT registration, it shall be mandatory for the candidates to clearly indicate the programme to which they wish to apply.
