• The candidate should have completed 17 years of age at the time of admission
• The candidate should have passed 10th class with more than 60%
• The candidate should have passed 12th class pattern Examination (Equivalent to the 2 year Pre university in Karnataka) with Physiscs and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with Chemistry/computer science/ Biotechnology as optional subjects in the qualifying exam.
• For general candidate the candidate should have got 45% for SC/ST/OBC and Category 1 the marks should be 40%.
• For NRI/FQ/PIO should have passed 10+2 pattern of education which is equivalent to Pre University of Karnataka, India. with Physics and mathematics as compulsory and chemistry/computer science/biology as optional subjects with English as one of the language of study and must have obtained more than 50% in English.
