New Horizon College of Engineering B.Tech Admission 2020

Admission in New Horizon College is done by KCET Counselling, Management and lateral entry schemes. For Undergraduate courses, KCET and KRLMPCA CET is considered. GATE is compulsory for admission in M.Tech Course.

Exams such as CAT, MAT are considered for the MBA course.

NHCE offers B.Tech in Automobile Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Information Science and Engineering and Electrical and Electronics Engineering.

KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance test)

KCET stands for Karnataka Common Entrance Test. It is conducted by the Karnataka Education Authority (KEA) for admission in different undergraduate courses of Karnataka.

KCET Application Form

KEA conducts KCET exams. Candidates can apply for the Entrance exam on the official website.

• Visit the official website.
• Fill the details asked and check it.
• Pay the fees using the online method and take a printout of the confirmation page.
• After the submission of the form, take at least two printouts for reference.
• Candidates can download admit card before exams and preserve it till they get admission in college.

KCET Syllabus

The question papers of the Common Entrance Test will be based on the First and Second PUC syllabus prescribed by the Department of Pre-University Education of Karnataka State.

KCET Pattern

KCET is conducted for two days. Each day has two sessions. On the first day, Biology and Mathematics are conducted in two sessions. On the second day, Physics and Chemistry are conducted.

Question paper is MCQ type and there is no negative marking for the wrong answers.

KRLMPCA UGCET Admission Ticket

Students can download the Admission Tickets by entering registered Mobile No. given in the application form as user name and date of birth as password from the official website. Students should produce the same at the time of Entrance Test. Students will not be allowed to appear for the Examination without Admission Ticket.

• 10th/SSLC Marks Card – Original + 2 sets of Photocopy
• 12^th PUC Marks Card – Original + 2 sets of Photocopy
• Transfer Certificate – Original + 2 sets of Photocopy
• Caste Certificate in case of SC/ST Candidates ( For Karnataka students only)
• Photographs – 4 Passport +4 Stamp Size
• Anti-Ragging Affidavit on a Stamp Paper of Rs.20/- ( Format will be provided by the college )
