Admission Process:

Admission to PES University is done through common entrance test PESSAT. This test is conducted for each course. However, those who have scores of a national level entrance exam in their concerned stream can also apply.

PESU admits 40% of its students to undergraduate courses based on their Karnataka CET and 60% seats based on PESSAT (the university’s own entrance test) ranks. PESU also admits students under Management quota, which does not place any merit requirements. There is a lateral entry scheme in place, by which students holding diploma degrees can directly enter the second year of study in engineering. Application Process:

To apply for any course at PES University, the aspirants will have to create a login ID by registering on the official website as new user. On successful registration the candidates will be provided with login ID and password which they can use for all purposes, including uploading photo, updating application fee payment details, etc.

Infrastructure:

The campus is quite small, occupies a space of only 25 acres and is located on the outskirts of Bangalore. It’s well connected with roads, and it does have the Mysore metro station not much far from the campus. The campus does have 2 large cricket grounds, a small football court and a basketball court. In PES University, the faculty are good and experienced. The classrooms are of high standard with full LED TV and classrooms full of A/C. Faculty:

The faculty are quite experienced and helpful. They are quite a lot of PhD holders in our college. They do teach well, and there are extra sessions where they help us with the topics that were not clarified. There are also counselling sessions, and the curriculum is quite different from others as it’s a deemed university.

The faculty members have a good experience, and teaching is excellent. The teachers are very helpful in understanding the concept if they were not understood. They are good at teaching. There are courses like CSE, MECH, Civil, EC, and EEE having the good scope in future, and placements are good for these branches.
