Whether you’re taking the GMAT exam preparation or preparing yourself for class 12th exams, you need to follow a routine if you want to revise the whole syllabus.
Several students just revise the important parts or portions in which they have doubts. Let’s discuss a few points which can be followed to prepare well for an exam.
Make a plan for your studies that works for you, and don't leave anything until the last minute.
Although some students seem to flourish on last-minute studying, it's often not the best strategy for preparing for exams.
Make a list of your upcoming exams, the chapters you need to study, and the remaining days. After that, plan out how you will learn.
Make sure your desk has enough room for your textbooks and papers to be spread out.
Another thing to think about is making sure the space is light enough and that your chair is comfortable enough. Give attention to any distractions and get rid of them from your study area.
When reviewing study material, visual aids can be particularly beneficial. Write down all the information you are already familiar with a topic before you begin.
Transform your review notes into a diagram as the test approaches. In this way, visual memory can greatly improve your readiness for the test.
To prevent unnatural sleepiness, fatigue, or illness, avoid consuming unhealthy foods and instead increase your intake of fresh, nutrient-rich foods. To ensure that your body is adequately hydrated, drink lots of water. Better focus and memory can be maintained by eating nuts, yoghurt, and seeds.
Summary
Last but not least, try taking breaks in between studying. Avoid 4-5 hours of continuous studying. That may give you unnecessary stress.
