Would you like to configure your Linksys velop setup without app? While the app provides you with the easiest way to set it up, it's also possible to do otherwise. You may use a computer hooked up to your modem and utilize a web browser to access the configuration interface.  Connect your primary Velop node to your modem. Now, open up your web browser and type 192.168.1.1 in the address bar. It should now display the Velop setup page. Follow on-screen instructions to configure the network name, password, and other settings. This will have fewer features than an app-based setup. At times, the router's web interface has to be accessed for advanced configurations. See the Linksys Velop manual for specific instructions on how to do that.
