Not much but when we move to small changes so often, then we can achieve a good Linksys re6700 setup. Doing small changes like moving the Linksys device can help in a very good WiFi speed. Plug the device midway around or between the router space but make sure, that should be an ideal spot. Make sure you have stable bars on the device; two bars are enough though. Move the extender closer to the existing router if you do not see the bars. 

The range extender will take a few minutes after moving it in the right direction. Find a close outlet to the router as you need to get the router going first, to achieve a good setup for an extender. Only after getting the unbreakable signal speed does the extender work. So after connecting the devices well with each other will gain up the setup. Solid orange light after connection denotes a very partial connection. So, check if there is no connection. Fix the wires tightly and now, after fixing the wires if you are getting the strong blue lights then you are in a good connection.
