Bangalore Institute of Technology Bangalore (BIT) came into existence in the year 1979 with the aim of giving quality education in technical field to the people of the state and the nation, thus serving the society. A number of centers carry out inter-disciplinary research work with the college and also many collaborative programs exists with institutions like IISC, NAL and many others. The college offers Bachelor of Engineering Degree in various branches like Civil, Mechanical, Electronics & Communication, Electrical & Electronics, Computer Science, Telecommunication, Electronics & Instrumentation Technology, Information Science & Engineering and Industrial Engineering & Management.
