RV College of Engineering Admissions 2020

Rashtriya Vidyapeeth College of Engineering is a private prestigious co-educational institute located in Bangalore, Karnataka. It is affiliated to Visvesvaraya Technological University and it is known to offer various UG and PG programs across multiple specializations. Under UG wing, the college is known to offer Batchelor of Engineering Program while under PG wing, it offers MTech and MCA.

• For the Karnataka residing candidates, the selection to BE course is done on the basis of KCET (Karnataka Common Entrance Test) conducted by Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) that begins in the month of January every year
• For the non-Karnataka residing candidates, the selection of the candidates to BE course is done on the basis of marks scored in COMEDK examination that begins in the month of February every year
• 45% seats are filled through KCET, 30% seats are filled based on COMEDK and 25% seats are reserved for Management, all merit-based quota
• The selection of the candidates to MTech is done on the basis of a valid GATE score that begins in the month of September every year.
• The admission of the candidates to MCA is based on valid Karnataka PGCET score which also commences in the month of September every year
• 80% seats are reserved for students appearing in GATE and PGCET exam and 20% seats are reserved for Management Quota.
• 20% of seats of the MCA programme are given to those applying in Lateral Entry through KEA counseling

RV College of Engineering Application Process 2020

The application process for applying for KCET begins in the month of January every year while the application process of COMEDK starts in the month of February. The registration for GATE starts in the month of September.

The application process for admissions to BTech commences with the online registrations for JEE Mains/KCET (for Karnataka candidates)/COMEDK (for outside Karnataka candidates) and ends with the exam results announced along with the merit list of candidates eligible for the process.

• Those willing to apply for UG programs should send 10th and 12th final exam mark sheets with the application form of the appearing examination

• The KCET application form costs INR 650 for general category, INR 500 for SC/ST/OBC candidates and COMEDK application form costs INR 750
• The application fee can be paid via Bank Challan or Demand Draft (drawn in favor of Executive Director Karnataka Examinations Authority, payable at Bangalore)

The application process for admissions to PG courses commences with the online registrations for GATE/PGCET and ends with the exam results announced along with the merit list of candidates eligible for the process.

• To fill the application form of GATE, the candidate needs to visit the GOAPS website.
• The application fee for all the candidates is INR 750
• To appear in PGCET exam, the candidate needs to visit the PGCET website and click on “PGCET Online Application” to create the login credentials
